New creative brief for Type Project
Project Statement:
1.Background
This will be used for either t-shirt design. posters, or a DVD cover.
2. Target Audience
The target audience for this will be fans of Zach Galifianakis’ movies or stand up comedy.
3. Objectives
To illustrate Zach using his name and have the rendering be recognizable to everyone.
4. Obstacles
The population that aren’t familiar with his work or are not fans.
5. Key Benefit
People will have something to remember Zach Galifianakis, be it a movie, or a stand-up comedy show.
6. Support Statements/Reasons why
The key benefit will expose the image of Zach to both fans and non-fans. This secondary publicity will help promote his work even more.
7. Tone
The tone will be light.
8. Media
I could see this on t-shirts, posters, album covers...the possibilities are endless. I think I the main channel of media will be t-shirts though.
9. Creative Considerations
None

Issues!
I really wanted to do Jesus for this project and I couldn't find a good image to use. So it was back to the drawing board...a little late in the game too. So I'm going to go with Zach Galifianakis.

Creative Brief: Type Project
Here is my Creative brief for the type project (project 2):
Project Statement:
1.Background
I plan on making this for my church. The medium it would be reproduced on could be t-shirts, directories, or posters. There is also a Christian music festival called Creation Fest every year. I could also sell them the design.
2. Target Audience
My target audience would be anyone who is religious and believes in Jesus Christ, also anyone who is curious about Him.
3. Objectives
I want them to buy the item of course, but also spread the word about the product. I want them to see the suffering and read the text and understand what he went through to save us.
4. Obstacles
Some people who don’t believe in Jesus Christ will either be hesitant or non-responsive to my image.
5. Key Benefit
They will experience Christ both through imagery and His word.
6. Support Statements/Reasons why
I don’t think the key benefit outweighs the obstacles. The obstacles will always be there. Some of the people who don’t believe might be effected by the message in the image but most won’t.
7. Tone
The tone will be emotional. I want people to see the pain that Jesus went through for us.
8. Media
I could see this on t-shirts, posters, billboards, album covers...the possibilities are endless. I think I the main channel of media will be t-shirts though.
9. Creative Considerations
It is a possibility that the verses in the image could be translated to different languages. For right now though, it will remain in English.
Almost complete
I've been working on some small details with the editorial illustration. I am putting it together into a PDF and will hopefully upload it tonight.
